KATE FOLEY

After an early career as a midwife, Kate Foley studied archaeological conservation and became head of English Heritage's Ancient Monuments Laboratory. Her fourth collection, The Silver Rembrandt, was published by Shoestring Press in 2008. She has won several prizes and been widely published in magazines. She lives in Amsterdam, where she is a member of the Wordsinhere writers collective and the Versal magazine's editorial team. She leads workshops in Holland and UK and is particularly keen to collaborate with artists in other media.
