Aspirations
Arts Council and Portsmouth City Council funding in 2006.
In 2008, special events celebrating five years of Tongues & Grooves, a fundraising partnership, and an upgraded website
By 2009, new roadshows and workshops using poetry to promote emotional well being, social inclusion and motivation.
By 2010, a published Portsmouth Anthology and      community advertising campaign, to coincide with The Poetry Society’s Centenary.
Beyond 2010, a Poetry and Music Festival, to celebrate the opening of Portsmouth’s new Northern Quarter.

A special Tongues & Grooves Poetry and Music Concert launches this year’s Festival on Thursday 25 September 2008 at Havant Arts Centre,with Rory Motion, Donald Gardner, John Haynes, Stephanie Norgate, Nick Evans, Maggie Sawkins and Bernard Macdonagh.
